What was it?
We read the script of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare while watching two different movie versions of it. Along with reading it we also did mini projects alongside of it.
Courtroom Trial After we finished reading Romeo and Juliet we held a court trial to determine who was responsible for their murders. There were eight lawyers, two for each of the characters on trial. The people being prosecuted were Romeo, Capulet, Balthazar and Friar Lawrence. There were also five jurors with the teachers acting as judges. The rest of the class were character witnesses. I was acting as Capulet which meant I had to do a character write-up and give my testimony at the trial. |

Timeline and Exhibition Piece
We also created a timeline of all the events we thought were important and created a piece to show for exhibition of our choosing that represented our interpretation of a specific scene or the entire play.
My exhibition piece represents the butterfly effects of Romeo and Juliet's marriage as well as what they choose to marry along with each other.
